NOTICE OF REDEMPTION OF THE REMAINING FLOATING RATE PARTIALLY SUBORDINATED
UNSECURED REDEEMABLE CONVERTIBLE DEBENTURES ("debentures") AND NOTICE OF FINAL
DEBENTURE INTEREST PAYMENT
Redemption of debentures
In compliance with the Terms and Conditions of the Debentures, Palabora is
required to redeem the remaining debentures on the Final Maturity Date, i.e.18
September 2006. Accordingly, the debentures will be redeemed at their principal
amount (i.e. ZAR1 000 per debenture) as set out below. A final interest payment
in respect of the remaining debentures will be calculated from 20 March 2006 to,
but excluding, 18 September 2006.

Non-surrender of debenture certificates
Certificated debenture holders need not surrender their debenture certificates
as such certificates will be null and void with effect from the close of
business on Friday, 15 September 2006.
Notice of interest payment
Notice is hereby given that the Board has declared a final interest payment in
respect of the period 20 March 2006 to, but excluding, 18 September 2006 of
6079.30 cents per debenture, which will be payable to debenture holders recorded
as such in the books of the Company on the record date.
The last day to trade in the debentures for purposes of entitlement to the
interest payment will be Friday, 8 September 2006. Trading in the debentures
will be suspended from the commencement of business on Monday, 11 September
2006. The record date will be Friday, 15 September 2006 and the interest will be
paid on Monday, 18 September 2006.
Debenture certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised after Friday,
8 September 2006.
