DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL PLC ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES - ("LBTIDA")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Liberty
International plc have declared a dividend of 178.48875 cents per ordinary share
based on an exchange rate of GBP1 = R12.981, payable on Tuesday, 5 September
2006 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close
of business on Friday, 18 August 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, LBTIDA,
will receive a Liberty International plc dividend of 178.48875 cents per
security payable on Tuesday, 5 September 2006 in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividend will be Friday, 11 August 2006.
LBTIDA Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 14 August 2006, and the record date will
be Friday, 18 August 2006.
