DIVIDEND AND SPECIAL DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE AGL
SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend and special dividend amount payable for
ANGLO AMERICAN PLC and that as a result of the dividend and special dividend
declaration relating to ANGLO AMERICAN PLC (AGL), the Trustees of the Share
Instalment Trust have declared a dividend amount of 224.7465 cents per share
instalment, and a special dividend amount of 456.3035 cents per share instalment
that is payable on Thursday, 21 September 2006.
The last day to trade cum dividend is Friday, 18 August 2006. The share
instalment will commence trading ex dividend from Monday, 21 August 2006 and the
record date will be Friday, 25 August 2006.
