SASFIN BANK APPOINTS SHAHIED RYLANDS AND DOLLY MOKGATLE TO THE BOARD
Shahied Rylands and Dolly Mokgatle have been appointed as non-executive
directors of Sasfin Bank Limited, a 90% owned subsidiary of Sasfin Holdings
Limited.
An attorney by profession, Mokgatle is an executive director of the Peotona
Group, the former CEO of Spoornet and a former executive director of Eskom.
She holds several non-executive directorships, including Electricity
Distribution Industry Holdings, of which she is the chairperson and the
National Energy Regulator of South Africa of which she is the deputy
chairperson.
Rylands is a director of InnoVent Investment Holdings and Royal Africa
Gateway and represents these companies on the boards and executive
committees of all their investments. InnoVent own 10% of the equity of
Sasfin Bank Limited. Rylands has extensive experience in corporate
finance, mergers and acquisitions, business turnaround, strategy
development, quality and risk management, BEE transformation and financial
management.
