In compliance with rule 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that Mr E S G von Roretz has resigned as executive
director and chief executive officer of the company, with effect from
Friday, 18 August 2006.
The group chairman, Dr M F Kunene, has assumed the role of chief executive
officer on an interim basis to ensure continuity in implementing group
strategy.
