Renewal of cautionary announcement
Further to the cautionary announcements dated 23 May 2006 and 10 July
2006, shareholders are advised that the company continues to be
involved in discussions which, if successfully concluded, may have a
material effect on the price of the company"s shares.
These discussions are quite separate from today"s announcement
regarding access to BEE deal funding. Furthermore, in light of
speculation in the media, Purple Capital would like to confirm that the
current discussions are not related to the acquisition of an interest
in a bank.
Shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing in
the company"s shares until a further announcement is made.
