Declared Dividend Announcement on Impala Platinum holdings Limited enhanced
dividend securities - ("IMPIDB")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Impala
Platinum Holdings Limited have declared an interim ordinary dividend of
2200 cents per ordinary share payable on Tuesday, 26 September 2006 to
ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close of
business on Friday, 22 September 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities,
IMPIDB, will receive an Impala Platinum Holdings Limited dividend of 2200
cents per security on Tuesday, 26 September 2006 in terms of the Cession
clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank
Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to
participate in the dividends will be Friday, 15 September 2006.
IMPIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the
dividends from the commencement of business on Monday, 18 September 2006,
and the record date will be Friday, 22 September 2006.
