Group"s 22.9% shareholding in Mvelaphanda Resources Limited ("the disposal")
At the general meeting of Mvela Group ordinary shareholders held on Monday 28
August 2006, the resolutions to approve and implement the disposal were passed
by the requisite majority of votes of Mvela Group ordinary shareholders.
Accordingly, the disposal has become unconditional in all respects and has been
implemented. The purchase price payable in terms of the disposal, being R1.183
billion, has been received by Mvela Group.
