RESIGNATION AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr Davinder Kumar Chugh, Chief Executive Officer has submitted his resignation
as Chief Executive Officer of Mittal Steel South Africa, effective from 14
September 2006. Mr Chugh will be taking up his new position as a member of the
board of Arcelor Mittal, and will remain a member of the board of Mittal Steel
South Africa.
