SUBSTITUTION OF COLLATERAL
Noteholders are referred to the announcement dated 28 June 2006 relating to the
posting of collateral by Ecosecurities Limited ("Ecosecurities") at the third
mark to market date, being 5 May 2006.
As set out in the previous announcement the collateral placed by Ecosecurities
exceeded the amount of collateral required to be placed in terms of the hedging
agreement and Sterling Waterford has agreed that a portion of the excess
collateral be released. The collateral retained by The Standard Bank of South
Africa Limited as collateral escrow agent remains in excess of the amount
required to be placed in terms of the hedging agreement.
