Sanlam Limited: Change in directorship
Sanlam announces the retirement of Flip Rademeyer (58) as financial director of
Sanlam Limited with effect from 31 October 2006.
The Board of Sanlam Limited has appointed Kobus Moller (47), current chief
executive: Finance of Sanlam Limited to succeed Mr Rademeyer as financial
director of Sanlam Limited.
Flip Rademeyer joined Sanlam as financial director in 1998 prior to Sanlam"s
demutualisation and listing. While he will step down as financial director, he
will retain his positions on the Boards and Board Committees of Group
subsidiaries. Until the end of 2007, he will retain responsibility for investor
relations and support the Group on special projects at an executive level.
Kobus Moller is a Chartered Accountant and joined Sanlam in 1998. He was
appointed as chief executive: Finance in 2003 and is a former executive
director: Operations and Finance of Sanlam Life and executive director: Finance
of Impala Platinum Holdings. In his new position, Mr Moller will serve on the
Boards of all the major Group companies.
