WITHDRAWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Board of Directors of Conafex Holdings Societe Anonyme ("Conafex") wishes to
refer shareholders to the cautionary released on 27 July 2006. Further details
pertaining to the negotiations referred to in the aforementioned cautionary were
released in an announcement to shareholders on 16 August 2006. In the
circumstances shareholders no longer have to exercise caution when dealing in
their shares. Shareholders are further advised that a circular detailing the
transaction is in the final stages of preparation and will be mailed out in due
course.
