In compliance with rule 3.59 of Listing Requirements of JSE Limited, the
following information is disclosed:
It was announced on 25 August 2006, inter alia that Mr N Phillips, Chairman of
Dorbyl , would be resigning as both director and Chairman to be replaced by Mr A
du Plessis effective 15 September 2006.
During subsequent discussions with Mr Du Plessis, a more precise assessment of
the envisaged duties and the time required was made. In the light of his present
commitments, Mr Du Plessis has advised that it would not be possible for him to
accept the appointment. Mr Phillips will continue as Chairman until further
notice.
