Declared capital distribution announcement on Imperial Limited enhanced
dividend securities - ("Iplida")
With reference to the Capital Distribution announcement, the Directors of
Imperial Limited have declared a Capital Distribution of 244 cents per
ordinary share payable on Monday, 2 October 2006 to ordinary shareholders
recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 29
September 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities,
IPLIDA, will receive a Capital Distribution of 244 cents per security
payable on Monday, 2 October 2006. The last day to trade ("cum" the
distribution) in order to participate in the capital distribution will be
Thursday, 21 September 2006.
IPLIDA Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the capital
distribution from the commencement of business on Friday, 22 September
2006, and the record date will be Friday, 29 September 2006.
