UNQUALIFIED AUDIT OPINION ON ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
We refer to the announcement issued by the JSE on SENS and in the Press on 11
September 2006 stating that the audited accounts of Labat contained a qualified
audit opinion. Shareholders are advised that this announcement was incorrect.
The audited accounts of Labat do not contain a qualified audit opinion.
The JSE has recognised that their announcement was in error and have accordingly
apologised for any inconvenience which may have been caused. Shareholders are
referred to the JSE"s announcement issued on SENS on 19 September 2006 and their
subsequent press announcement. Furthermore, shareholders are referred to the
circulated Annual Report of Labat which contains the unqualified Auditor"s
report.
