Fulfilment of conditions precedent in respect of the disposal of the Plastform
division
Further to the announcement dated 19 June 2006, Standard Bank is authorised to
announce that the unconditional approval of the Competition Commission for the
agreed disposal of Consol"s Plastform thermo-forming division to Astrapak
Limited has been granted. Accordingly, the transaction will be implemented with
an effective date of 30 September 2006 and should close in October 2006.
The financial effects of the Plastform disposal are not significant, as defined
in the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited.
