COMPLETION OF DAUN SHARE PLACEMENT
Claas Daun, one of South Africa"s largest individual foreign investors, has
completed the placement of 24,0 million indirectly held KAP shares (or 5,7% of
the issued share capital) with various institutions at a price of 400 cents per
share. The placement was undertaken to meet market demand for increased
liquidity of KAP shares and was completed within 48 hours. Claas Daun remains
the largest shareholder in KAP with a 37,1% indirect holding and remains
committed to the Company.
