TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), a listed
company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware
that its financial results for the next reporting period will differ by 20% or
more from those of the corresponding period of the previous year.
The board of directors of StratCorp advise that its basic earnings and headline
earnings per share of 3.38 cents per share and 2.67 cents per share respectively
for the six months ended 31 August 2005 is expected to increase to between 8.6
cents per share and 12 cents per share for basic earnings and headline earnings
for the six months ended 31 August 2006.
The forecast contained in this trading statement has not been reviewed or
reported on by the company"s external auditors.
