FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Linked unitholders are referred to the cautionary announcements dated 11 July
2006 and 23 August 2006 regarding the agreements entered into with Sharemax
Investments (Proprietary) Limited ("Sharemax"), acting as administrator for 14
property owning companies ("the Vendors"), in terms of which SA Retail will
acquire the properties ("the Portfolio") owned by the respective Vendors ("the
Acquisition"). The Acquisition is still subject to the finalisation of the
terms of the transaction and the conditions detailed in the previous cautionary
announcements.
A detailed announcement will be made in due course providing, inter alia,
details of the Portfolio and the financial effects of the Acquisition on SA
Retail.
Accordingly, linked unitholders are advised to continue exercising caution when
dealing in the linked units of S A Retail until a full announcement is made.
