DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON OLD MUTUAL PLC ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES -
("OMLIDA")
With reference to the dividend announcement on 14 September 2006, the Directors
of Old Mutual plc have declared an interim dividend on 6 October 2006 of 2.1
pence per ordinary share based on an exchange rate equivalent in ZAR of 30.78
cents per share, payable on Thursday, 30 November 2006 to ordinary shareholders
recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 20
October 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, OMLIDA,
will receive an Old Mutual plc interim dividend of 30.78 cents per security
payable on Thursday, 30 November 2006 in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividend will be Friday, 13 October 2006.
OMLIDA Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 16 October 2006, and the record date
will be Friday, 20 October 2006.
