SETTING ASIDE OF VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP OF SHOPS FOR AFRICA
Shops for Africa shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 8 September
2006, wherein they were advised that Trematon Capital Investments Limited
("Trematon"), in its capacity as majority shareholder, applied for the setting
aside of the voluntary winding-up of Shops for Africa.
The High Court of South Africa (Cape of Good Hope Provincial Division) on
Wednesday, 27 September 2006, ordered that the voluntary winding-up of Shops for
Africa be set aside in terms of section 354 of the Companies Act No.61 of 1973.
Shareholders are further advised that Trematon are currently considering the
future of the company and that a detailed announcement will be made in this
regard in due course.
