Following the recent issue of shares by Paramount Property Fund (South
Africa) and notification from the Stock Exchange, FTSE and the JSE
announces the following changes:

will remain in the index
with an increased shares
in issue of 244,967,079
and unchanged
investability weighting
of 75%.

Property (J253) will be treated as above.
FTSE/JSE Africa Capped Paramount Property Fund 19 October 2006
Property (J254) will be treated as above.
FTSE/JSE Africa Property Paramount Property Fund 19 October 2006
Loan Stocks (J256) will be treated as above.
