Witkop strike ends
Johannesburg, 12 October 2006 - Sallies announced today that the strike by
NUM members at its Witkop fluorspar mine near Zeerust had been settled.
Management"s offer of a 10% wage increase had been accepted and all the
employees involved will return to work by 08:00 tomorrow.
