DEALING IN SECURITIES BY DIRECTORS
The board has been informed that Steinhoff Africa Holdings (Pty) Ltd
(Steinhoff Africa), a subsidiary of Steinhoff International Holdings
Limited, had, at the time of Steinhoff Africa"s purchase of control of
Unitrans, reserved 3,873,600 shares in Unitrans for investment by or on
behalf of certain members of key management in Unitrans. Steinhoff Africa
and the relevant members of executive management, executed agreements on 10
October 2006 in terms of which the following executive directors of
Unitrans beneficially purchased, by private purchase, 3,435,000 ordinary
shares in Unitrans.
It is accordingly announced in terms of paragraph 3.63 of the Listing
Requirements that the following executive directors of Unitrans have
executed purchase agreements in respect of 3,435,000 shares at a
consideration of 3 100 cents per share, i.e. for a total consideration of
R106 485 000, as follows:-
N Boshoff 612,500 Shares
PJ Dieperink 830,000 Shares
KJ Grove 1,260,000 Shares
SM Keys 732,500 Shares
3,435,000
Clearance in terms of paragraph 3.66 of the Listings Requirements has been
granted in respect of the abovementioned transactions.
