Investec - Notification relating to Investec Warrants
INVESTEC BANK LIMITED
NOTIFICATION RELATING TO THE BELOW-MENTIONED LISTED INVESTEC WARRANTS
Investec Bank Limited, as Issuers of the below-mentioned listed warrants, would
like to notify all holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Security (HotEDS), of an
amendment relating to the "Stop Loss Event". The Stop Loss Event in the
Supplement currently states:- "Where, on any Business Day up to and including
the Expiration Date, the trading price of the Underlying Parcel as quoted on the
JSE Limited Is equal to or less than the Stop-Loss Level."
This Stop Loss Event is amended to read:- "Where, on any Business Day up to and
including the Expiration Date, the closing price of the Underlying Parcel as
quoted on the JSE Limited is equal to or less than the Stop-Loss Level."
This change is to be effective from 18 October 2006.
Current holders of the HotEDS will not be prejudiced by the above amendment.
The amendment is being implemented with the consent of the JSE Issuer Services
Division.
No emigrants or non-residents, both referred to as Restricted Shareholders, may
participate in the Enhanced Distribution Securities Plus (HOT EDS) programme.
As the Warrants have been dematerialised, settlement will be effected
electronically through the STRATE system of the JSE and accordingly,
certificates evidencing the Warrants will not be issued to Holders.
