Spanjaard is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Petrus van der
Nest as an independent non-executive director of the Company effective 1
November 2006.
Mr. van der Nest is the Principal lecturer: Department of Audit at Tshwane
University of Technology. He has been appointed by the MEC: Education North
West Province, the Minister of Social Development (National) and the Minister of
Public Service and Administration as the chairperson of the audit committees of
these departments. Mr. van der Nest is a member of the Institute of Public
Finance and Auditing, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
