African Harvest acquisition
On 2 November 2006, shareholders were advised:
* that all the conditions precedent pertaining to the acquisition by Cadiz
of African Harvest Fund Managers (Pty) Ltd (`AHFM")had been duly fulfilled,
and that the effective date of the acquisition of AHFM was 31 October 2006,
and
* that in relation to the acquisition by Cadiz of African Harvest
Collective Investments Limited (`AHCI"), the only outstanding condition
precedent was the approval by the Licensing Committee of the Financial
Services Board in respect of the change in shareholding.
Shareholders are advised that this approval has been obtained and the
effective date of the acquisition by Cadiz of AHCI is 31 October 2006.
