RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - FRIDAY 10 NOVEMBER 2006
Shareholders are advised that all the ordinary resolutions tabled and the
special resolution were duly passed by the requisite majority votes. The special
resolution granting a general authority to the directors to repurchase the
company"s shares was adopted and will be lodged with the Registrar of Companies
in due course.
At the meeting Prof G.J Gerwel indicated that he would not stand for re-election
as was indicated in the notice of meeting and resigned as a director of Gold
Fields Limited. The Board of Directors thanked him for his contribution and
wished him well in his future endeavours.
