APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAIRMAN
Ray Cadiz has been appointed non-executive chairman of Cadiz with effect
from 14 November 2006. He succeeds Colin Hall who is standing down as
chairman of the board but will continue to serve as an independent non-
executive director.
Ray Cadiz (43) has relinquished his executive role to become chairman.
Colin Hall (67) was appointed chairman of the board of Cadiz in December
1998.
The directors of Cadiz thank Colin for leading the board with distinction
over the past eight years and express their gratitude to him for continuing
to serve as a non-executive director. This will allow the board to continue
to benefit from his wisdom, experience and independent thinking.
Ray Cadiz co-founded the business in 1993 and served as chief executive for
12 years until his appointment as executive deputy chairman in August 2005.
The board also extends its congratulations to Ray on his appointment as
chairman of the group.
