Declared interim dividend announcement on SABMiller Plc enhanced dividend
securities - ("SABIDB")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of SABMiller plc have
declared an interim dividend of 100.0314 cents per ordinary share based on an
exchange rate of US$1 = R7.14510 payable on Friday, 22 December 2006 to ordinary
shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on
Friday, 1 December 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, SABIDB,
will receive a SABMiller plc dividend of 100.0314 cents per security payable on
Friday, 22 December 2006, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the
Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade
("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be Friday, 24
November 2006.
SABIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 27 November 2006, and the record date
will be Friday, 1 December 2006.
