TRADING STATEMENT
Matodzi is expecting earnings of between 80 and 83 cents per share, and headline
loss between 4 and 6 cents per share for the period ended 30 September 2006.
Matodzi previously reported a headline loss of 21.2 cents per share for the
comparative period.
The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed by Matodzi"s
auditors. Matodzi is expecting to publish its interim results for the period
ended 30 September 2006 on or about 30 November 2006.
