TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that Cape Empowerment Trust"s fully diluted headline
earnings and fully diluted earnings for the year ended 31 December 2006 are
expected to be between 285% and 305% higher than the previous comparable period,
being the year ended 31 December 2005, due to all investments performing better
than expected.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company"s auditors. The reviewed results are
expected to be published on or about 26 March 2006.
