DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON AFRICAN BANK INVESTMENTS LIMITED
ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("ABLIDC")
With reference to the final dividend announcement, the Directors of African Bank
Investments Limited have declared a final dividend of 120 cents per ordinary
share payable on Monday, 18 December 2006 to ordinary shareholders recorded in
the books of the company at the close of business on Monday, 15 December 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, ABLIDC,
will receive an African Bank Investments Limited dividend of 120 cents per
security on Monday, 18 December 2006 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated
in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day
to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 8 December 2006.
ABLIDC Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 11 December 2006, and the record date
will be Friday, 15 December 2006.
