Acquisition of the retail plastic bag business of the flexibles Bellville
business of Nampak products Limited ("Nampak"): Fulfilment of conditions
precedent
Transpaco has been advised that the Competition Commission has unconditionally
approved the acquisition of the Flexibles Bellville Business of Nampak.
Accordingly, the agreement for the acquisition is now unconditional. The
agreement includes the acquisition by Transpaco Flexibles Mpumalanga
(Proprietary) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Transpaco, of the retail
plastic bag business of the Flexibles Bellville Business of Nampak and the
acquisition by Booysens Road Property (Proprietary) Limited, a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Transpaco, of the immovable property of Nampak , situated in
Glucose Way, Bellville South, Bellville, Western Cape. The acquisition will be
effective from 4 December 2006.
