CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are advised of the following changes to the Board of
Directors of Western Areas Limited.
Resignations from the Board
The following resignations will take effect as of 31 December 2006:-
Mr David Morris Nurek (Non-Executive Director)
Mr Steven Alan Levitt (Chief Financial Officer)
New Appointments to the Board
The following new appointments will take effect as of 1 January 2007:-
Mr Nicholas John Holland (Non-Executive)
Mr Brett Jonathon Mattison (Non-Executive)
Nick Holland is currently Chief Financial Officer of Gold Fields Limited ("Gold
Fields"), and has been a director of Gold Fields since 1998. Brett Mattison is
a member the Gold Fields Corporate Development Executive Committee.
Following the above changes, the Western Areas Board will be constituted as
follows:-
