DECLARATION OF INTEREST ON UNSECURED, COMPULSORILY CONVERTIBLE DEBENTURES
Notice is hereby given that debenture interest for the period 20 July 2006 to 21
January 2007 of 3.03397 cents per unsecured, compulsorily convertible debenture
("the debentures") will be paid to debenture holders recorded in the register of
Excellerate at the close of business on Friday, 19 January 2006 ("the record
date"). Payment will be made on Monday, 22 January 2006 ("the payment date").
The interest rate applicable is the six month JIBAR as quoted from time to time
by Nedbank Limited, plus 2.75 percentage points.
The last date to trade cum interest will be Friday, 12 January 2007 and trading
will commence ex interest on Monday, 15 January 2007. Debenture certificates may
not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday, 15 January 2007 and
Friday, 19 January 2007, both days inclusive. In respect of dematerialised
debenture holders, interest will be transferred to the Central Securities
Depository Participant accounts/broker accounts on the pay date. Certificated
debenture holders` interest cheques will be posted on or about the pay date.
