Old Mutual plc, the international financial services group, today announces that
John Deane, Director, Group Risk & Compliance, will be leaving the company to
take up a position as Executive Director at the Royal London Group.
Until the appointment of a successor, which will be announced in due course,
Martin Murray, Group Company Secretary and Don Hope, Group Treasurer will assume
Mr Deane`s responsibilities.
Commenting on Mr Deane`s departure, Jim Sutcliffe, Chief Executive, Old Mutual
plc, said:
"John`s commitment and determination have been instrumental in the development
of the Group, and in particular, the successful acquisition of Skandia earlier
this year. I would to thank John for his valuable contribution and wish him
every success in the future."
Mr Deane joined Old Mutual plc in the summer of 2003 as a consultant, before
becoming Director, Corporate Development in January 2004.
