CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
UCS shareholders are advised that the Group is currently evaluating the next
phase of its BEE strategy and has entered into negotiations with a party that
may result in the introduction of a BEE partner at Group level. The transaction
is anticipated to be concluded at commercial values with no discount or debt
funding. The successful conclusion of these negotiations could have a material
effect on the price of UCS shares.
Shareholders are accordingly advised to exercise caution when dealing in their
UCS shares on the JSE Limited until a further announcement is made.
