TRANSFER OF SECTOR
Shareholders are advised that the listing of MICROmega`s ordinary shares will be
transferred from the "Speciality Finance" sub-sector within the "General
Financial" sector to the "Business Support Services" sub-sector within the
"Support Services" sector of the JSE Lists, with effect from the third Friday of
December 2006, being Friday 22 December 2006.
MICROmega listed in 1998, in the Speciality and Other Finance sector. At the
time, the group`s core business was the provision of inter-dealing broking
services.
Since the time of listing, MICROmega has diversified its interests into many
different sectors within the South African economy, and the company profile has
changed significantly, incorporating the following services, amongst others:
inter-dealing broking; revenue management solutions; web-based software and
information visualisation solutions; importation and distribution of power
supply solutions; manufacture and distribution of automotive components;
employment outsourcing services; risk management services; and occupational
health and safety services.
The board of MICROmega were thus of the opinion that the sector under which the
company currently trades does not reflect the true nature of the company`s
business, and believe that a transfer to the "Business Support Services" sub-
sector would more correctly reflect the nature of the group`s business. A
successful application was made to the JSE in this regard, resulting in the
transfer of sector to the "Business Support Services" sub-sector of the "Support
Services" sector of the JSE Lists.
