The announcement below, which was released to the London Stock Exchange
today by Capital Shopping Centres PLC, a subsidiary company of Liberty
International PLC, is attached for information:
Capital Shopping Centres PLC ("CSC")
Purchase of unsecured Bonds for cancellation
CSC has purchased from Liberty International PLC for cancellation,
GBP167,835,000 nominal of 6.875% unsecured Bonds due 2013, and
GBP84,745,000 nominal of 5.75% unsecured Bonds due 2009. The Bonds
purchased were initially acquired by Liberty International by market
purchases between 2001 and 2004.
The balance not held by the Liberty International group in respect of both
issues remains at GBP26,821,000, representing 13.41% of the GBP200,000,000
6.875% unsecured Bonds originally issued, and GBP41,744,000, representing
27.83% of the GBP150,000,000 5.75% unsecured Bonds originally issued.
