CHANGE OF NAME AND NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING
River Group is authorised to announce that the board of directors have decided
to change the name of the company to Santova Logistics Limited to better reflect
the changed nature and profile of the company`s business and corporate identity
and to avoid confusion with other international companies, as Spectrum is a
common name internationally
For a period of not less than one year, Santova will reflect the former name
"Spectrum Shipping Limited" on all documents of title in brackets beneath the
new name "Santova Logistics Limited".
In terms of the Listings Requirements, approval was granted by the JSE on 28
December 2006 for the change of name and for the short name of "Santova" to be
used with the share code "SNV" on the "AltX" board of the JSE lists and the ISIN
will be changed to ISIN: ZAE000090650.
This approval is subject to shareholder approval being obtained at the
general meeting on Friday, 26 January 2007.
Assuming that the special resolution to approve the change of name is approved
by the requisite majority of Spectrum shareholders and such resolution is
registered by the registrar, the change of name will be released on SENS on or
about Friday, 26 January 2007 and be effective on the JSE with effect from the
commencement of trade on Monday, 12 February 2007.
The requisite circular for shareholder approval will be posted to shareholders
on Wednesday, 3 January 2007.

Last date for forms of proxy to be lodged in
respect of the general meeting by 10:00 Thursday, 25 January
General meeting to be held at 10:00 on Friday, 26 January
Announcement regarding the results of
the general meeting released on SENS on Friday, 26 January
Last date to trade in the old name shares on Friday, 9 February
Trade in the new name of Santova commences
with the opening of trade on the JSE under
the short name of "Santova", under share code
"SNV" and with ISIN: ZAE000090650 on Monday, 12 February
Record date Friday, 16 February
New share certificates in the name of Santova
posted to certificated shareholders who
have surrendered their share certificates
with the "old" name on or before 12:00 on Friday, 16 February.
CSDP/ Brokers accounts updated with the new
name of Santova Monday, 19 February
Notes:
(1) The above dates and times are subject to amendment. Details of any such
amendment will be released on SENS.
(2) There may be no rematerialisation or dematerialisation in the old Spectrum
Shipping Limited shares after Friday, 9 February 2007. Dematerialisation of new
Santova shares may only take place from Monday, 19 February 2007.
