Further Cautionary Announcement
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement issued on 09 January
2007.
After consultation with shareholders holding in excess of 50% of the Company`s
shares, the Board has resolved to decline offers received for individual
business units and divisions of the Company. Sethold will continue to be
run as a group and the critical mass of each of its three divisions
maintained.
Discussions are however continuing with a number of parties, including new
participants since the first cautionary announcement. These discussions
may result in offers for all the shares in the company, or in a BEE
transaction which might comprise a limited issue of shares for cash and a
partial offer to shareholders. The price levels being discussed represent
premiums to the current price at which Sethold`s share are trading on the
JSE.
Shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution in dealing in their
shares until a further announcement is made.
