Progress report on exploration programme and the issue of permits.
The board of Miranda is pleased to inform shareholders that the following
prospecting right has been granted in terms of Section 17 of Mineral and
Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (Act 28 of 2002)
The group has been granted the right to prospect for diamonds on the farm Number
4, Bergmans Hope, in the magisterial district of Barkley West covering an area
of 6.5163 ha. The farm falls in the historically rich diamond area of Barkley
West.
The board is currently reviewing the planned exploration programme and will be
issuing environmental guarantees to the Department of Minerals and Energy in due
course.
