Distribution Rights of New Holland Kobelco Construction Machinery
Imperial is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the distribution rights
of New Holland Kobelco Construction Machinery for Southern Africa effective 01
January 2007. New Holland Kobelco offer a comprehensive range of construction,
mining and road building equipment. New Holland Kobelco is a wholly owned
subsidiary of CNH Global, listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the fourth
largest manufacturer of mining and construction equipment in the world.
New Holland has a substantial existing base of machines in Southern Africa
through the brands of Fiat Kobelco, Kobelco, O&K and New Holland Construction.
These well established brands have now combined into a single global brand in
the field of Construction and Mining Equipment.
Distribution of New Holland Kobelco combines well with Imperial`s core business
which includes the distribution, usage and after sales support of construction
and mining equipment. It extends Imperial`s existing exposure to the
infrastructure and mining sector.
Imperial`s extensive experience in the distribution of other mobility assets
such as cars, trucks and forklifts will benefit the business of New Holland.
