CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with the JSE Limited ("JSE") Listings Requirements, Vunani
Corporate Finance is hereby authorised to announce the immediate appointment
of Nic Nicholson as a non-executive director of Bonatla, and Chairman of the
Audit and Risk Committee.
Nic completed his articles with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte and
Touche), and after a stint in commerce joined Grant Thornton, where he was
appointed a partner in 1988. As head of Grant Thornton`s Hotel, Property
and Tourism division, Nic was involved in the listing of several property
companies on the JSE, and in the South African bid to host the 2006 Soccer
World Cup, which South Africa narrowly lost to Germany.
In 2002, he joined ABSA with the express task of rescuing the Unifer Group,
and is now the Financial Director of a joint venture company between JD
Group and Thebe Investment Corporation, which distributes banking and
communication products through the JD chain.
Nic will therefore bring a wealth of experience to the Bonatla board.
