DISPOSAL BY WESCO INVESTMENTS LIMITED OF ITS SHAREHOLDING IN METAIR: WITHDRAWAL
OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Further to the cautionary announcement published on 12 December 2006,
shareholders are now advised that the put and call options referred to in that
announcement have been exercised by Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Pty) Limited, the
investment arm of the Royal Bafokeng Nation, who took up 606581 shares in Metair
for cash at a price of R250 per share.
Coronation Capital Limited ("Corocap") has taken up the balance of 44698 shares
on the same terms.
Following this transaction Corocap now holds 1956962 shares in Metair,
equivalent to a 32,26% holding.
The Royal Bafokeng has effectively become a strategic partner in Metair.
Shareholders are therefore advised that the cautionary announcement is herewith
withdrawn.
