DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON BHP BILLITON PLC HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES - ("BILIHA")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of BHP Billiton plc
have declared an interim dividend of 144.76316 cents per ordinary share based on
an exchange rate of US$1 = R7.238158, payable on Tuesday, 20 March 2007 to
ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close of
business on Friday, 2 March 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
BILIHA, will receive a BHP Billiton plc interim dividend of 144.76316 cents per
security on Tuesday, 20 March 2007, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated
in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day
to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 23 February 2007.
BILIHA Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday, 26 February 2007, and the record
date will be Friday, 2 March 2007.
