Private placing and listing of rare on the alternative exchange of the
JSE Limited
PRIVATE PLACING
PSG Capital Limited is authorised to announce that in terms of the private
placing of shares in Rare, as detailed in the Abridged Prospectus published on
16 February 2007 and in the Prospectus dated 16 February 2007, the intended
amount of R37,5 million (before expenses) was raised by the issue to select
investors of 18 750 000 Rare ordinary shares at 200 cents per share ("the
private placing").
LISTING OF RARE
As the required public shareholder spread has been achieved pursuant to the
private placing, the listing of the issued ordinary shares of Rare on the
Alternative Exchange ("Altx") of the JSE Limited has become unconditional.
Accordingly, 88 750 000 ordinary shares in the share capital of Rare will be
listed on Altx from the commencement of trade on Friday, 23 February 2007. The
shares will trade under the abbreviated name "Rare", with share code "RAR" and
ISIN ZAE000092714.
