DECLARED DISTRIBUTION OUT OF SHARE PREMIUM ANNOUNCEMENT ON GRINDROD LIMITED
ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("GNDIDB")
With reference to the distribution announcement, the Directors of Grindrod
Limited have declared a distribution out of share premium of 38 cents per
ordinary share payable on Monday, 19 March 2007, to ordinary shareholders
recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 16
March 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, GNDIDB,
will receive a Grindrod Limited distribution of 38 cents per security on Monday,
19 March 2007, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement
between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum"
the distribution) in order to participate in the distribution will be Friday, 9
March 2007.
GNDIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the distribution
from the commencement of business on Monday, 12 March 2007, and the record date
will be Friday, 16 March 2007.
