DECLARED FINAL AND SPECIAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON HIGHVELD STEEL AND VANADIUM
CORPORATION LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("HVLIDB")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Highveld Steel and
Vanadium Corporation Limited have declared a final dividend of 350 cents per
ordinary share and a special dividend of 100 cents per ordinary share payable on
Monday, 12 March 2007, to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 9 March 2007.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, HVLIDB,
will receive a Highveld Steel and Vanadium Corporation Limited final dividend of
350 cents per ordinary share and a special dividend of 100 cents per ordinary
share payable simultaneously on Monday, 12 March 2007, in terms of the Cession
clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank
Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the final dividend and special dividend)
in order to participate in the final dividend and special dividend will be
Friday, 2 March 2007.
HVLIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the final
dividend and special dividend from the commencement of business on Monday, 5
March 2007 and the record date will be Friday, 9 March 2007.
